Aarhus Street Food is a hip and laid-back food market housed in a gritty warehouse of what used to be the town’s bus garage. It is wonderfully smacked right in the middle of the city, a stone’s throw away from Aarhus Central Station. On a typical Friday, the place is brimming with locals, tourists and university students. Weekdays are rather quieter, particularly on this below-freezing Tuesday, something to make a mental note of if crowds and long queues are not your thing. From Nordic to Asian kitchens, desserts to artisanal beers, there is so much variety to choose from for all taste buds. The food are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too. Anyone visiting Aarhus must come here to graze as soon as you get off that train. The duck fat fries, bahn mi and pita deserve special mention in my books :-)
